Our college the “KLE Society’s Law College, Bengaluru”, with a group of students and teachers have constituted “GREEN LAWYERS CLUB– GLC”. The main mottos of our club is to spread maximum awareness regarding protecting the Mother Nature, to join hands with the ministries, activists and NGOs working in the field to address the problems in finding legal solutions for environmental challenges.
We the students of GLC had organized a “Silent March” on 16.10.2017 regarding enlightening the public to not burst fire crackers on the eve of Deepavali festival. More than 100 student volunteers (including girls and boys) participated in the March. The Silent March was held during 12.30pm to 2.30.pm from BDA Complex, Nagarbhavi to Ambedkar College, Nagarbhavi with the help of banners and placards conveying serious message to the public to not burst fire crackers and pollute the environment.
