On 15
th August 2017 all the faculty and students celebrated the Independence Day. Dr.J.M. Mallikarjunaiah, Principal, hoist the national flag. After the flag hoisting the students sung patriotic songs and delivered speeches on Independence Day, thereafter students took part in pick and speech competition. Students spoke on topics like, Freedom struggle, Patriotism, Nationalism, Terrorism etc. Dr.J.M.Mallikarjunaiah, Principal, addressed the students on the occasion and emphasized on the value of liberty and appealed to students to make judicious use of the freedom available to them
Independence Day festivities are an approach to motivate the youth of today to serve the country as dedicatedly as our freedom fighters of the prior ages did. The bold deeds of the freedom fighters and their affection and devotion for their nation ingrain a sentiment of energy in the youthful age and they are motivated to serve the country in however they can.
