Every year, 1
st of November is celebrated as Kannada Rajyotsava, the day that the state of Karnataka was formed. On this day, in 1956 all the Kannada speaking areas of South India were merged into a new state and the name was changed to Karnataka on 1st November 1973.
On 1
st November 2016, all the students and faculty of our college assembled in the college premises. The college was dotted with red and yellow as the Karnataka flag was hoisted by Dr. J.M. Mallikarjunaiah, Principal,K.L.E Society’s Law College, Bengaluru. The KLE fraternity portrayed its patriotism towards the state bysinging the state anthem ‘Jaya Bharatathajananiyatanujathey’. The programme was coordinated by Student Council coordinators with faculty coordinator Mr. Manoj Kumar V Hiremath, Assistant Professor.
