On the eve of World Aids Day on Dec 1, 2015, Dr Anil Kumar Joint Secretary, Department of Health, Government of Karnataka, talked about the initiatives of the Government to eradicate AIDS and also presented statistics about the AIDS victims. Mr. Vishwanath Angadi, Former District Judge spoke about the role of courts, lawyers and students in eradicating AIDS from the society, while Dr. J.M. Mallikarjunaiah, Principal, shared a few words of wisdom on the same.
This was followed by a poem recitation session by Journalist Mr. Rajesh Hiremath,
Mr. Rajeshkumar V., English faculty and Mr. Abhimanyukumar V. HOD, English Department of Aacharya Institute.
The program was witnessed by KLE School children and two HIV infected children from Dhruthi foundation an NGO.
